Our client, a highly respected specialist in fit-out, refurbishment and construction services, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their thriving team.

The Role:
The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates for a range of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects. Working closely with the pre-construction and contracts teams, you will ensure competitive, high-quality tenders are delivered to tight deadlines, helping to maintain the company’s reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates
• Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
• Prepare bills of quantities and other tender documentation
• Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings as required
• Collaborate closely with the Contracts and Commercial teams to ensure seamless project handovers
• Identify and assess commercial risks associated with tender submissions
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing, and materials

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction, fit-out or refurbishment sectors
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent numeracy, analytical, and communication skills
• A proactive, team-oriented approach with a keen eye for detail
• Relevant construction-related qualification preferred
