Senior/Associate Quantity Surveyor

Our client is looking to appoint an experienced professional to join their growing team in Glasgow at Senior/Associate QS level. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key part of a growing and ambitious team, delivering high-profile Hotel, Student Accommodation, Build-to-Rent (BTR), Museum, Leisure and Residential projects across the UK.

The Role:

You will play a pivotal role in providing expert cost management and procurement advice, ensuring successful project outcomes for a diverse client base. From early-stage feasibility and cost planning to contract administration and final account settlement, you will be integral to the smooth delivery of projects from inception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the cost management of projects across a variety of sectors
• Providing strategic procurement and commercial advice to clients
• Preparing detailed cost plans, estimates, and tender documents
• Managing contracts, ensuring projects are delivered on budget and to schedule
• Mentoring and supporting junior team members, contributing to their professional growth
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor

About You:

• Chartered (MRICS) or working towards full chartered status
• Proven experience within a UK consultancy environment, working within the property sector is Essential
• Strong knowledge of cost management, procurement strategies and contract administration
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive and ambitious approach to career development
